Less food, more sailing!

With all the emails flying around dealing with food, maybe its about time we talked about sailing. The race is in Humber Bay and the first warning signal is at 10:50. We should be looking at leaving the dock around 9:40 to allow an hour to get out there. The 9:15 boat could be pretty crowded with crew trying to get to the club, so if you could get there early that would better increase your likelihood of getting on it. The race course is a windward leeward course with gate marks but with the start and finish lines half way up the course. There will be an attempt to get in 3 races. The good news is that the forecast wind is around 12 knots from the south west. The bad news is that rain is also forecast and the high forecast is 20 degrees. So dress accordingly. We have only 3 extra sets of foul weather gear.

The other good news is that Steve has promised Ti Punch for the crew when we get back. So, Nansi and Trevor, if you are around come look for us to participate.
